Lay aside $168 on this monster 8TB SSD, vainglorious enough to contain 32 copies of Call of Duty

Games keep acquiring bigger and bigger and sol do the drives we need to contain them, which way keeping our eyes open for Black Friday deals happening SSDs. For instance, the Elder Scrolls Online takes up just under 100GB of blank space, while Forza Horizon 5 is just a hair over that. Rainbow Six Besieging is an arbitrary unit at 130GB, and Red Dead Redemption 2 chonks in at about 150GB. Splendidly, dreadfully, Call of Duty: Modern War takes up 230GB of blank space. Thankfully, in that location's nobelium plot bigger than that.
Yet. Who knows how swelled games will get, and how big our drives volition need to get to contain them? Factor in all the video and screenshots and software and past stuff on your PC, and we completely know a couple of hundred United Kingdom isn't quite enough infinite, unless you want to delete a spirited every time you establis a new one.
- For more Black Friday gaming Personal computer deals... here they are.
And so while the idea of an 8TB SSD seems absurd, it's non all that idiotic very. If you really want to outpace the sizing of games (by days and years, I beggarly), there's a deal along the 8TB Samsung 870 QVO SATA Ternary 2.5" SSD for Black Fri. Yes, 8TB is beautiful absurd. And even with a $165 discount rate, it's not cheap at $682.29. But it'd handgrip about 32 individual copies of the biggest game ever made.
I am truly screen out of tempted to buy this giant myself. I've already upgraded my storage a few times this class, adding a 1TB SSD to replace a slow, over-stuffed HDD, and adding another TB after my 250GB SSD burnt out. I've now got 3TB of storage on my PC, and information technology's filling up shockingly quickly. 8TB sounds like a ridiculous and unfillable add up of space, but honestly, I bet it won't equal time-consuming before it doesn't seem that outlandish anymore.
